What is the status of my order?

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order.

Once your order is shipped we will send you another email to confirm you the expected delivery date as well as the link to track your order (when the delivery method allows it).

Additionally, you can track the status of your order from your "order history" section on your account page on the website.

How long does it take to ship my order?

All orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days via NZ Post (tracked). This service aims to deliver items within 1-3 working days after dispatch.


🌎 International Shipping 🌍

All orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days via NZ Post (untracked). This service aims to deliver items within:

Australia - 3-10 Business Days

Everywhere else - 6-20 Business Days

Everywhere else tracked - 3-10 Business Days

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major Credit Cards, Paypal, Bank Transfer (Domestic Only), Afterpay and Zip.

Local orders (in Southland), have the option to pay on collection via cash or eftpos.

Which currency will I be charged in?

We currently only support NZD.

If your credit or debit card uses another currency, then you will be charged in NZD. Your bank will apply the corresponding  conversation rate of the currency you choose.

Can I change my order?

We can only change orders that have not been processed for shipping yet.

Once your order is under the status "preparing for shipping", "shipping" or "delivered", then we cannot accept any edits to your order.

What is a Pre-order?

A pre-order is an order placed for a product that has not yet been released or is currently out of stock. In the context of books, a pre-order allows customers to reserve a copy of the book before it is officially available or before it can be delivered. Once the book is released or restocked, it will be shipped to the customer who placed the pre-order.

For Pae Pukapuka, pre-orders allow customers to secure a copy of a book even when the shop doesn't have immediate stock on hand. Pae Pukapuka ensures that a copy is obtained from the author or publisher and delivered to the customer once it arrives.

Pre-orders will be shipped within four weeks of placing the order unless a specific date is advised in the listing description.
